Madison Film Festival
Tonight (April 6), the Madison Arts Council and the DSU Arts Club are putting on an independent movie film festival, in which you can see a few Chad the Egad favorites, including the recently finished El Camino del Librarian, in addition to the works of other local film makers.
Admission is free, and the fest is to go from 6:30 to 7:30 (though I'm guessing it'll go a bit long). It's at the Science Center on the DSU campus. I'll be there, and I expect to see you all there as well.
In addition, come see the DSU Theatre and Comedy Bytes (Improv troupe) will be performing at the Dakota Prairie Playhouse, April 7, 10, and 11 starting at 7:00, with a matinee on April 8, starting at 2:00. There’s a monologue called Fifteen Minutes, a one-act play called The Actor’s Nightmare, and of course, the Bytes doing their hilarious ad-libbed show.
Also, the Bytes will be doing additional performances on the 7th and 10th, starting at 10:00.
Admission prices for these shows are $5 for the general public, $3 for seniors and DSU faculty, and free for students with a DSU ID.
The Bytes alone are worth the price of admission, so be sure to come down and see the shows. Support your local arts (or else)!
