About the Film

Shot over a two year period, this completely ad libbed film chronicles the tale of Lenny (Chris Deaver) and Steve (Matt Walker) as they run from the accidental death of their friend, Blake (Bob Davidson). Things get weird after the duo pick up a hitchhiker who could pass as Blake's lost twin brother. After a run-in with some disgruntled drug dealers, things get out of hand!

This film represents the first Chad the Egad attempt at a feature length film. Lacking a script, plot, and direction, this flick is chaotic and surreal in both its plot and characters. Being shot entirely linearly on a shoulder-mounted VHS consumer camera, the film lacks the technical quality of Chad the Egad's later works, but still holds its own in shear terms of oddness and still holds the record for largest cast on any Chad the Egad production.

While the film may be difficult for the initiated to watch, it stands as a testament of good times with good friends - a sort-of time capsule from a time when we were just kids with a camera and too much free time. It will always hold a special place the collective heart of many here at Chad the Egad Studios.
